New StormHand Website Launch 24 11 2010
The new stormhand.com, launched week 47 - 2010, features projects by Boy Bastiaens, projects by Albert Kiefer as well as a selection of their team up collaborations. The portfolio’s main navigation menu is a large homepage indexed by a grid of icons. Each credited with the name of the project, design category and date of publication. The linked projectpages provide in-depth information on the design approach, reveal the untold story behind the work and are tagged with related projectpages.
The Conflict shopping bags and Atelier LaDurance packaging are displayed in the first issue of 'Chois Package', the unique periodical that showcases the latest of global package design. Each volume of the Shanghai based publishing company documents more than 250 package cases of different industries, allowing the visuals to speak for themselves. Choi’s Pack Age - packaging as content - selected by editor Lynn Lin will be published 4 times one year.

'Magic Branding', by Beijing based DesignerBooks features the best in integrated branding systems from around the world. Amongst the contributors is Atelier LaDurance. The beautifully printed and well-edited compilation illustrates that sometimes design seems like magic. The finalists and winners of the Dutch Design Awards 2009 were on show during the Shanghai International Creative Industry Week from September 15th through to 22nd. All creative works in this special exhibition 'Best of Dutch Design' came from the three main categories: communication design, product design, and the relatively new discipline spatial design, with contributions from the fields of architecture, space design and landscape design. The previous stop of the travelling exhibition was the Red Dot Museum in Essen, Germany - European Capital of Culture 2010 - which hosted ‘Best of Dutch Design’ from April 8th until May 2nd.
