New Project Added - Limburg Open Lab 30 01 2015
In 2014 StormHand partners Albert Kiefer and Boy Bastiaens were selected by the DDX (Dutch Design Exchange) to work very closely with renown designers Maurice Mentjens and Gay Jongen on a very special project. Joining forces under the collaborative name ‘Limburg Open Lab’ (L.O.L.) the four designers were commissioned to co-create the next promotional gift for the Province of Limburg in only one day. On top of that the design prototype would 3D printed at the end of this intensive workshop and presented to the Province Limburg.

New on the stormhand website the design of the welcome poster for little Yoshua, Boy Bastiaens' first grandson. "It was absolutely a great challenge to make an outstanding - it's a boy - announcement". I was very lucky to bump into something which prevented me for falling into the pitfall of predictability and turned working on this special project into a great time of play.
