Dry Till You Die 12 01 2014
If you look around at the 'Branding: Boy Bastiaens' expo you will find quite some names of jeans labels: Liberto, Chipie, Verte Vallee, Wrangler, Lee, G-Star, Pepe Jeans London, Atelier Ladurance and Denim Demon. As a product of popular culture its always nice to hear some ’Blue’ background information. On the occasion of the exhibition this Sunday January 12th. the Grivec Bros will give a lecture at the Centre Céramique about their motto 'Dry-Till-You-Die' (the true passion for raw unwashed denim). While sharing their expertise on history, cut, color, thread and details of a pair of jeans. The twins grew up in the jeans store of their parents which they took over at the age of 18. When their friend Jason Denham opened the Denham Sewing Academy they were the first that graduated. Able to fix anything that your jeans seem to suffer -from alteration to denim repair- they are now working on a jeans of their own.
