Symbol features over 1300 international strong and outstanding recent graphic symbols that provide brands, organisations and stores with ‘marks’ that act as an instantly recognisable signifier when seen independently of the brand name and/or logotype. Pentagram partner and author Angus Hyland selected together with writer Steven Bateman the Conflict Designmarket icon, a castle in the air surrounded by dark clouds, for inclusion in the book which is about graphic designs in their most concentrated form.
